Wet 'N' Wild: Limited Edition Pop Art! Nail Colors

Wet 'N' Wild has recently came out with a new limited edition collection called Pop Art! It includes 6 eyeshadow palettes and 6 Wild Shine nail colors. The collection boasts bright colors all based on famous artists. Out area never got the eyeshadow, unfortunately! But we DID get the nail polish! These retail for about $0.99 each, but were on sale for $0.69 when I bought them. So of course I got them all! These were all done on nail art wheels. The left nail is one coat, the right nail two coats. None of them have a top coat. These are all creme polishes.

34197: A Blank Canvas

This is just what it looks like; a basic white. The formula is thick and streak really easily! With a second coat it evened itself out, but I could see me having to use three for perfect opacity. The brush is skinny and long and easy to work with, and was cut very nicely. The dry time is kind of slow, and was still a little sticky even after a few minutes.

34196: The Clock Strikes Orange

This is a very nice bright, summer orange. The formula is thinner than the white, and not as streaky. It looks pretty nice at two coats, but a third would probably be needed. The brush is long, skinny, and very easy to work with. The dry time was shorter than the white, and one I could live with.

34193: Stand the Test of Lime

I love lime greens! And this one is fabulous. The formula is thin but much less streakier than the other two. It looks great after two coats, and would probably look even better on top of a white base. the brush is long, skinny, and very easy to work with. The dry time was about the same as the orange, and I see this as a color I could easily work with (rave nails!).

34195: Teal Slowly and See

This color is described as a teal, but to me it looks like a pretty sky blue. It is very similar to the lime green; a thinner formula that dries pretty fast, looks good after two coats, and is not that streaky. The brush is long and skinny, and cut very nicely. Overall it is a very pretty color I could see working very well with a white base. 

34192: Listening to Blue Reed

This color is a very dark, true blue. The formula is very thick and very streaky. However, it evens up very nicely on the second coat (though I had to make it a very thick second coat). The brush is very skinny and long, and cut straight. The dry time is slower on this one, and even after a few minutes it was still kind of tacky. 

34194: Who is Ultra Violet?

This color is a simple true purple. The formula is a little thin, but not too much. It goes on streaky on the first coat like the rest, and even the second coat is a little patchy. The dry time is pretty good, even after a second thick coat. The brush is skinny and log, and cut nice and straight. 

Overall this collection is pretty nice. It has some basic, true colors, and even though it has it's issues (streaky!), for $0.99, I would give it a shot. The lime was by far my favorite, with the teal and orange right behind.
